I am Fayas Ahammed currently working as Sales Manager with Microsoft Corporation India Pvt. Ltd based out of Hyderabad.

At present, I am handling the Microsoft Mobiles Devices and Services business (erstwhile Nokia Mobiles devices) for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States . I have worked across Southern Part of India in FMCG and Telecom Industries over the past 13 years plus. I have handled the business of Nokia & Unilever in Top cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada, Coimbatore, Cochin, etc. and have managed a large team of over 100 members. I am managing an Annual business Turnover of 17 million USD currently. My primary responsibility is to Drive Sales and distribution in the assigned geography. I handle 8 large Distributors of 2 States (AP & Telangana) , who does a sizeable business of these 2 States. Sales & Distribution is these sates are ensured through a Team of 120 members.
I am responsible for all the marketing initiatives undertaken in my geography and am accountable for generating justifiable ROI for the investment made. All key activities are initiated keeping in mind the competition activities and promotions.
Another key responsibility is training and development of the team and getting the numbers delivered through them. I handle channels like Microsoft Priority stores (erstwhile Nokia Priority stores; Company owned retail stores) Organized Trade, Key Accounts and Multi Branded Stores, etc. I am a hard negotiator and this has contributed to consistent growth in business, profitability and market share gain in my territory. Timely reporting to the Top management of the competition activities are always expected out of my role. Category management is another key responsibility and ensuring the availability of right models at the right outlets is a part of my day to day job. This is being ensured through the RDS sales team.
