Dear Hiring Manager,
As a senior Mechanical design engineer (HVAC, Plumbing & Fire suppression system) and Manager with experience in M&P project management and design of Infrastructure Mechanical systems, I hereby would like to summarize my career key responsibilities for a better understanding of my capabilities and skills.
I have the ability to work with relevant software including MS Office suite, AutoCAD-2016, Revit-2016, Trace-700, Carrier HAP-9.1, Energy-Pro Title-24 compliance and eQuest energy modeling software. I am familiar with the U.S. Green Building Council requirements on energy efficiency concepts, NFPA standards as well as working knowledge of International Codes.

Having worked on design, coordination & construction administration phase of diverse projects, I am quite certain that a personal interview would fully reveal my ability to contribute to your organization.
List of responsibilities I managed as a team leader and senior Mechanical systems design engineer are summarized below:

• Distribution of project workload.
• Participate in departmental strategic planning.
• Evaluate, motivate and mentor the design team towards continued growth.
• Resolve design issues with the team.
• Meetings with facility and/ or project clients to identify their requirements and define the overall scope of the project.
• Extracting financial impact of undertaking the project with available resources in terms of man-hour to be reported at the management meetings.
• Preparing project financial proposal in direct coordination with principal management to implement company strategies.
• Managing all aspects of the project, interface with client representatives, client/architectural coordination, correspondences and field work as needed.
• Attend meetings with clients to discuss design issues.
• Engineering design tasks on projects including HVAC, Plumbing, Infrastructure Mechanical design as well as water based fire protection system as necessary:
 Estimation of loads, preparation of design criteria during the concept design phase.
 Preliminary building load calculation, main equipment sizing and outline specifications during the schematic design phase.
 Design calculation, preparation of drawings, full specifications and equipment data-sheets (cut-sheets) as per project scope and time schedule during the CD phase.
 Design calculation, preparation of drawings for pump and lift stations as well as sewage treatment plant (STP) outline design.
• Perform project reviews, QC monitoring of construction documents and coordinating design works with engineers of other disciplines.
• Financial monitoring of the project to stay within acceptable budget.
• Monitoring the project for any extra works instructed by client and not within the contractual scope of project and responsibilities.
• Coordination with the contractor, providing necessary engineering support, reply to RFIs and review of submittals for compliance with specifications and drawings during construction phase.
• Meeting with management team and reporting project status.
• Visit project sites during construction to monitor construction compliance with issued documents.
• Preparation of reports and procedures as necessary.
