SUMMARY OF KEY EXPERIENCE:
Preparing /Reviewing the electrical design engineering and shop drawings for power systems, power (mech. Equipment), HV/MV/LV system power distribution & infrastructures, substations, MVSG, calculations for short circuit, voltage drop, and single line diagram AC/DC, telecomm. Network and fibre optical networks for large scale and Mega projects as industrial gates with power substations and its detailed power SLD design and all related calculations , moreover the site technical support and design review.
Prepare the short circuit and voltage drop calculation , prepare and review the earthing and lightning protection calculations & design , Power systems , lighting system calculations manually and by dialux software ,harmonic study and calculations , load flow calculation by Etap 12.6 power stations
Prepare Infrastructure design HV/MV/LV for residential and industrial gates projects and voltage drop, short circuit calculation, street& roads lighting and lux level calculations, electrical loads estimations, Value Engineering study.
Carry out and Validate the design of the different fire detection & Fire Alarm Systems, Evacuation and Security systems drawings according to NFPA codes and BS standards as well as a local regulations requirements (SBC …etc.), to provide an accurate and cost effective Design..
Good experience working in the industry and extensive knowledge of both open protocol and close protocol fire detection &fire alarm systems.
Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems as per NFPA 72 and BS standards.
Fire alarm systems Interfaces with electromechanically systems , security system and elevators
Ensure Quality of Electrical Engineering, fire detection &fire alarm system Design in discipline and compliance with the appropriate projects process,
Ensure the preparation and review of design solutions, which fully comply with all applicable current legislation, Standards and client Design Standards to agreed time, cost and quality requirements .
Provide advice, support and answer technical queries on matters relating to appointed discipline
Make Design Reviews as Delegated Design Authority representative for projects of a multidisciplinary nature.
Review and originate design solutions which comply with specifications and user requirements; safety requirements , Legislation , codes and Standards as (NEC ,BS.,IEEE,SASO,CIBSE,IES,TIA/EIA and LEED , NFPA), client Standards, Codes of Practice and good engineering principles to agreed time, cost , quality and safety .
Review and originate specifications of appointed discipline
Use and communicate best practice in appointed discipline projects and services
Using the electrical software for voltage drop, short circuit calculations (Etap power stations 12.6 , Ecodial 4 from Schneider, dialux for lighting lux level calculations .)
Maintain effective working relationships with other disciplines
Communicate with staff within appointed discipline.
Supervise work of Engineers and Junior Engineers
Contribute to integrated safety when reviewing or producing engineering design.
