Profile
I am a senior Radiographer, currently employed by the Oxford University Hospital NHS trust. I began my employment in 2013, after I completed a bachelors degree in diagnostic imaging. After a short period working within the trust, I was offered a rotational position that included training in: CT, MRI and interventional radiology. This role has given me the opportunity to build a broad range of skills. I have been able to keep up to date with latest equipment and clinical trends in all three modalities.
I am passionate about my career, I work hard to continually develop my professional competency by attending lectures, training programmes and volunteering for extended professional roles. For example: this year I was nominated by my peers to act as the Society of Radiographers representative for the Churchill hospital, Oxford. I have also volunteered to become a student assessor and mentor. Part of my role as student mentor is to design and teach practical lesson, enabling students to get a hands on experience in a clinical setting.
I have developed a broad range of skills and experience working within the Oxford University Hospital NHS trust. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the trust. However, I feel the time is now right to progress my career in a different environment, and take on a new challenge working abroad.
