I would like to introduce myself as a Process Technology Development Leader & Professional with excellent academic, research background and above 15 years of work experience with leading organizations in the chemical industry. Over the years, I have gained extensive exposure across a gamut of areas including process technology development, research, process design & scaleup, process modelling, simulation, process calculations & economics. My roles have honed my skills in driving chemical & bio process technology development & selection, basic engineering for biomass to biofuel & value added chemical technologies, ethylene oxide technology, chlorination & isomerization studies.
I am skilled in reactor, kinetic modeling & reaction engineering; laboratory & pilot plant operations, planning & data analysis; asphaltene deposition issue for flow assurance; rheology of particulate fluids, flocculation/dispersion & colloidal cake filtration; drying, extraction technologies & process safety aspects. I have also demonstrated capability of managing Concept & Feasibility Studies, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and interfacing with project team, detail engineering contractor and vendors.
Over the years, I have a track record of technology development & evaluation, setting up pilot plant, technical bid evaluation, catalyst management & troubleshooting for plants, developing aspen process model, mass & energy balance, equipment sizing, PFD, mineral processing plant simulator development, review of engineering drawings, data analysis etc. I have also led highly qualified team of chemical engineers (from IIT’s & premier institutes) and chemists over the years.
I hold the distinction of being the author of 19 reputed international journal publications, 10 conference proceedings, 5 patents, inventor of 6 new invention disclosures. My credentials include academic performance in world-class institutes like University of Michigan, IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur & Jadavpur University.
