• About 16 years of experience in the field of Engineering Geology, Geo-technology etc.
• Currently working as Dy. Chief Consultant (Geology and Hydrology)/ Geological and Hydrological Engineer project entitled “Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project (Detail Design)” with JICA Study Team.
• Previously worked as Geologist in NHAI project in URS Scott Wilson India Private Limited (AECOM); Geologist in RITES Ltd Projected entitled “USBRL project, Jammu and Kashmir, India”; Mineral Exploration Geologist in Manmohan Mineral Industries Private Limited; Associate Professor in Civil Engineering Dept in GITM (MDU University) and Ansal University Gurgaon ; GIS Expert in KRC and Dasan Consultants Com. Ltd (JV) Korea (World Bank sponsored project); Environment Specialist in Desein Private Limited, New Delhi, project name-4000 MW Ultra Mega Project, Jharkhand (Thermal).
• Worked as Research fellow at WRDM IIT, Roorkee, Uttarakhand and Department of Geology, Kumaun University, Nainital.
• At present engaged in checking, reviewing and analysis of Geological, Geotechnical, Geophysical, Hydrological, Groundwater investigation reports of bridge, viaduct, station etc of about 508 km long High Speed rail alignment (Bullet train).
• Skilled in Geological mapping, Geotechnical investigation, Slope stability analysis, Landslide Hazard zonation mapping, Surface/Groundwater investigation, Geotechnical instrumentation testing and monitoring.
• Planning, execution and preparation of preliminary and detail project reports.
• Worked in three Tunnels by NATM method (Two Indian Railway Tunnels in J&K and one NHAI Highway Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh).
• Involved in Geotechnical investigation, Analysis of lab test results for Rail Tunnel, Road Tunnel (NHAI) etc.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D tunnel face mapping, evaluation of support system based on rock class, prediction of rock mass condition by means of probe holes.
• Knowledge of safe bearing capacity for Pile foundations, Shallow foundations; Slope stability analysis, Ground Improvement Techniques etc.
• Assessing Rock/Soil properties for Design purpose based on borehole data, Field and Lab tests data.
• Review the Design of Highway embankment stabilization by geosynthetics reinforced soil slopes and walls, soil nailed slopes.
• Determination of Rock Class (Q, RMR) for designing of various support systems for Tunnel.
• Preparation of Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR), Detail Project Report (DPR) for Railway, Highway projects etc.
• Interpreted and modelled geotechnical data and formulating suitable geotechnical controls for slope design.
• Preparation of technical specification for Geotechnical and Hydrological investigation.
• Estimation of quantity of different investigation to be done as per site condition and civil requirement.
• Coordinated engineering work on projects while recognising conflicts in the design or process.
• Knowledge of watershed management.
• Skilled in working on satellite data and aerial photographs using GIS software (ArcGIS, ERDAS, ILWIS etc.)
• Knowledge of Hydrological modeling in Topmodel, Soil erosion model USLE etc.
