Dear Sir/Mam,
I respectfully submit this letter of application, for I believe my experiences are well qualified to meet the needs of the company working in the field of geology.
I graduated in Master of Science with Geology (Hons) at Vinoba Bhave University in Hazaribagh, India in 2011. I also completed M. Tech. in Mineral Exploration and “Geostatistics” as my specialization from Indian School Of Mines (IIT), Dhanbad in May 2015.
I have approximately 4 years of on job work experience as a geologist in different companies. My experience in the application of geo-statistics in many fields helps me understand the subject in a better way. I also conducted project supervision and conducted practical classes for first year student in M.Tech during my final year of the study in Indian school of Mines, Dhanbad. I also accomplished research on “Rainwater Harvesting and Geostatistical Modelling of Groundwater in and around ISM (IIT) campus, Dhanbad” which was my dissertation topic and paper is in process of publication. These practices give me skill in the application of Geostatistics in the field of geology.
My studies in Indian School of Mines (IIT), Dhanbad not only provides me strong background and research experience in the field of geology but also provides the confidence of how to develop and explore the virgin areas and enhance my knowledge. Several projects and courses attended by me provide me a broad view of problem in various fields. I also have gained valuable experience in solving real problems during my M.Tech course.
Curranty I am working for Aimil Ltd where I am doing the microseismic studies for the delineation of fractures developed in the reservoir during hydrofracking. These studies help in the characterization of fractures in the petroleum and gas reservoir.
I believe with these educational values that I possess, working with an esteemed organisation will add more value to it and expose me more to the industry where geological knowledge are relevant, and in addition put into practice what I have learnt so far.
