My experience in the Pulp and Paper industry as a Power Engineer has given me a vast knowledge of high pressure and dangerous processes. As a safety professional in this industry and as the chief medical officer responsible for the lives of over 400 workers I have acquired a respect for a proactive approach to safety in an industry were anything below a zero accident rate can have catastrophic results. As the medical officer in big industry I have dealt with the unfortunate results of short cuts and disregard for safety, this is why I have devoted my life to safety in big industry, so we can all go home to our family at the end of the day.
