I would like to express my interest in obtaining employment as a fresh graduate Electrical & Electronic Engineer _ Entry Level: Engineer position. I am currently a fourth-year Electrical Electronic Engineering student at *Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) , Staffordshire University (UK) and my expected date of graduation is November 2015. However, my passion and interest in technology led me to participate and successfully in some local and international technology events / competitions. That helped me to develop my skills and to gain more self-confidence in my abilities as an Electrical Electronic Engineer. Furthermore, I possess advanced ICT skills such as MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, LTspice, C++ Language and Multisim.
Moreover, I got an outstanding opportunity to apply my college skills and knowledge as I attended a practical training for three months in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). It is one of the important utility companies in Asia and the largest in Malaysia.
It is often said that to operate effectively within an engineering environment; one must possess skills that qualifies her /him to work in the current industry, such as problem solving, effective Communication, and highly ethical and professional behaviour skills. In addition, I am an imaginative and optimistic person, who believes that my efforts will bear fruit. Given that both technology and scientific knowledge are expanding at an incredibly rapid rate, I am willing and able to acquire new skills and knowledge in my areas of expertise. Moreover, I enjoys cross-cultural work environments and possess positive attitude toward change and new environments. Furthermore, during the last few years, I developed my skills in research work, reporting and presenting by participating in different local and international competitions.
I am currently working on my Final Year Project (FYP) that involved intensive and high professional research work including searching for references, writing the literature review, programming, creating a prototype, and so on.
I feel so blessed for being a student at APU, that facilitated all my achievements / successes as my instructors provided me with continuous support and encouragement as well as the knowledge and skills that I need to grow in my future career
I can assure you that as a member of your team, I would bring these attributes to your organisation. I would welcome the challenge of working for such a high-profile institution and I believe that I can make a valuable contribution to your organization’s future projects and initiatives.
I would like to elaborate on my other accomplishments and interests. Currently, I am the Executive Member at IEM-APU Student Section. As I love and enjoy challenges, research work and travelling, I participated and won some local and international competitions. For example, my team has won the First Runner-Up in the International Energy Innovation Challenge 2015, National Engineers Day, Singapore. Moreover, my team won the ITEX Gold Medal under the Automotive and Transportation Category. Green Energy is another area of my interests; my team achieved the Top 5 Finalists of “Go Green in the City 2014” Competition by Schneider Electric. Recently, my team won the ICISCA Golden Prize for the students’ best Poster.
