• Study do the Audit for technical Specifications, quality delivery related customer requirements
& verify supplier inspection facilities, calibration status, and QAP inspection procedure and approve the vendor for Development Process.
• Carry out Material Identification, Seal transfer, raw martial clearance, Dimensional, welding inspection, Functional test, and NDT tests -PT, MT, RT, UT.
• Re inspects in case of rework/non conformance recommends the corrective & preventive action for non-conformance in consultation with Clint.
• Gained knowledge of QAP and Drawings. Maintain a traceability if required as per QAP& Conduct stage/final inspection report out come to Clint (non-conformance or acceptance).
• Doing TPI for reputed concerns, Doing QMS Auditing & Consultation for ISO 9001-2008, Field Quality analysis, Expediting as per the Clint requirements.
• In quality aspects, approved by PDO, L&T (Power, Defense, and HED), BHEL, NPCIL & Metso.

• Project profile: Handling the different suppliers for projects of Nuclear power plants (KAPP 3&4 RAPP 7&8), Rapid Tank - Malaysia.
• Nature of work: QA/QC, Inspection Scheduling, coordination, monitoring and doing the inspection and cross country functions Central Procurement teams expedite with south India suppliers.
• Review and correct the inspection reports and documents issue the IRN and accordingly maintain the documents related to projects.
• Conduct the review meetings and accordingly mentor the team periodically.
• Attend the review meeting for ultimate customers like NPCIL, IOCL, CPCL, etc,.
• If required doing the inspection of different items like Valves and control valves Ranges from ½ inches to 24 inches, pressure range from 150 to 2500 psi, Air fin heat exchangers, fabrication items, pre shipment inspections.
• Prepare and approve the ITP per ITP or QAP carry out the inspection.
• Verify the Heat number from the major parts of valves and witness pressure testing include Hydro-Static test, Pneumatic and Sensitive leakage test for valves and heat exchangers as per the testing standard API 598, 661.
• Witness the PMI, NDT like LPT, RT, UT and MPT and fugitive emission test-He leak test, Hysteresis and dead band, stroking time test, Functional test and rated valve test, blasting surface finish, profile checking, salt contamination test, dust level checking.
• Witness the Actuator leak test, review the blast test report, and carry out the paint DFT test, do the final dimensions, Flange finish check and marking.
• Review the Material test certificate (MTC) and clear the Material clearance Report (MCR), gauge calibrations, test reports of routine test.
• Prepare the Documentations, Dimensional report Inspection Report (IR) Inspection release note (IRN).
• If it is the machined items conduct the dimensional inspection if required on machine also.
• If it is the item is fabricated carry the dimensional inspection before full welding i.e. in tag welding condition.
• Witness welding and welder qualification as per the WPQ & PQR.
• Before and after full welding doing the dimensional inspection and carry out the NDT testing as per the procedure mention in the drawings.
• Checking the paint quality as per the procedure and DFT.
• Coordinate with end customer at the time of final inspection.
• To coordinate with the vendors and clear their droughts, discuss with the customer to carry over the project.
• To carry the sub assembly and full assembly inspections as per the procedure and QAP.
• Day to day activities to be update at the end of final inspections.
• Issue the inspection reports (IR) after completion of each and every end of the inspection and same to be update to customer also.
