Over 14 years of Finance and Accounting Experience in Manufacturing, Production, Construction, Health, Quasi-Government, Trading and Financial Organizations. I have gained over seven years of work experience in Middle East and currently working as Finance Manager with multi-faceted responsibilities in Project Accounting and General Accounting. The experience areas include Accounting Responsibilities such as; Accounts Payable Handling, Accounts Finalization, Month-end, Quarterly and Annual Closing of Accounts, Interactions with Banks for Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, and other Business Transactions. The Project Accounting Responsibilities allowed me to gain significant knowledge in Revenue and Cost Recognition. The exposure includes identification of appropriate Revenue Recognition Methodologies including Percent Complete and Cost Based Revenue Recognition. Work experience also includes Supplier Management including Invoice Verification and Payables.
I also have prior experience in carrying out both Internal and External Audits on behalf of various Audit Organizations that allowed me to gain significant experience in Finance work areas. This combined with working in Finance segments increased my knowledge base in Accounts Finalization and knowledge of Audit requirements for Government, Non-Profit, Banking and Corporate entities. I have experience in preparation of Income Tax and Sales Tax Reports for Indian Companies including Tax Returns Filing with Authorities.
I have experience in multiple Enterprise Accounting Solutions specially ORACLE for daily job functions and have significant experience in Great plains, TALLY, Quick Books etc.
I am also extremely comfortable in using various Office Software Packages including Excel, Word etc.
