1. Work with direct supervision and perform daily monitoring of ESP operating wells with fault finding and troubleshooting.
2. Carry out or supervise ESP installation, Cable splicing, Y-Tools, shrouds, sensors, packers, etc. 3. Perform and record checks on installed units at the well site, checking amperage and pump performance.
4. Install the surface control system which consists of (Transformer, Switch Board, Junction Box, Variable Speed Drive, Control Systems and Main Power Source).
5. Responsible for picking all necessary tools, spares and equipment for ESP installation and commissioning.
6. Check the calculation of required surface voltage, designate the proper transformer, select proper transformer tap setting ,set up surface equipment, insure system safety devices are installed and functioning.
7. Prepare loading notes, material requisitions from the stores, delivery notes, and check for all equipment before loading.
8. Maintain proper reports/records of all ESP installation and supporting documents.
9. Responsible for complete tools and instrument maintenance and housekeeping.
10. Review and follow up safety, health and environment (HSE) plans, including hazard identification plan and job safety analysis.
