Summary of Experience

 Presently working in Larsen & Toubro Group Company as SCM & Supplier Quality Head.

 Prior to this I was Plant Head for 7 yrs. where I was involved in establishing the new Plant of L & T and Howden, UK JV at Hazira, Gujarat. Increased the Production of components of Power Plant equipment by 95% by using principle of Theory of Constraint (TOC) and undertaken various Cost Reduction Initiatives by using Lean Manufacturing Principle.

 Worked as SCM & Logistics leader and successfully established & developed new Supplier base for the New plant of Construction machinery business at L & T Pune.

 As a Project Execution leader, established the execution of the Material Handling Conveyors at L & T Pune & increased the capacity from 30 Conveyors per year to 100 Conveyors per year.

 Having total 25 years of rich experience in various Plant Operations such as Manufacturing, Suply Chain Management, Global Sourcing, Project Management, & Plant Engineering.

 Identified by the L & T, as a Very Good Performer (VGP) at various levels of carrier path and got long duration development exposure for the Executive Leadership Program (ELP), Management Leadership Program (MLP) & Leadership Development Program (LDP).

 Worked for a period of 9 months in Business Development as a part of Leadership Development Program. Pricing Strategy based on Marginal Costing was derived which helped in After Market Spares Business to get good Business.

TENGL is the only manufacturer of Crawler Undercarriages for Excavators & Dozers in India. Company has also diversified its activities in Oil Field Equipment and Defense business. They are manufactured as per Customer Requirement & are of one-time requirement. The annual Business of the SBU was 50 Cr.
