Performing procurement activities of:
1.Engineering spares,Capex, consumables, chemicals, fuels, service contracts
2.Spares and consumables required for maintenance of electrical, mechanical equipment such as kiln, cement mills,raw mills, stacker re-claimer, overhead crane, VRPM, packing house & HEMM equipments.
3.Initiating the preparation of RFQs, comparison statement, purchase orders and different commercial activities in SAP MM Module
4.Compliance to the laid guidelines of Procurement Process guide
5.Generating MIS reports on weekly and monthly basis from SAP database
6.Monitoring the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), getting approvals & implementation in time, improvement projects follow up, cost reduction planning & implementation
7.Accountable for setting up a good quality supplier base to ensure cost effective and timely procurement.
8.Conducting e-auctions for scrap sale, implementing contractor safety management process while acting as significant member for plant safety & OHS Audit Management
Identifying high spend material/services and entering into contract for reduction of cost and lead time.
9.Extending support to the SAP MM core team members for any customization request & implementation for business effectiveness.
10.Monitoring of Inventory stocks and proactively taking suitable action for managing the inventory within the predefined limit
11.Following norms such as ISO 9001, ICS (Internal Control System), leading safety audits & P2P audits.
