I am presently working as ‘General Manager--Operations’ and managing production of 800 sewing machines. Formulate strategies for achievement of goals and targets by identifying and developing new avenues for long-term growth. Conceptualize and implement systems and operating procedures to optimize resource / capacity utilization in production operations with focus on customers.
I design operations to achieve business strategies with focus on Planning and forecasting, material requirement planning, inventory management, capacity planning, manpower planning, scheduling of operations, layouts, new technology adaptations with process strategy, quality management, cost budgeting of every process, cost reduction through value engineering for process improvement & implementation of modern production/ factory management system such as Six sigma, Lean, 5S etc.
