 Utility Operation Engineer ( Water and Gas)
SULB Company BSC is the Middle East region’s first fully integrated steel plant medium and heavy beams and structural steel sections producer.
Duties:
 Responsible for Operation and maintenance management for utilities related to Melt shop plant 600’000 tons /Year and Heavy section mill plant 800’000 Tons / Year.
1. Water treatment & Cooling systems
 Responsible for Operation, Quality Assurance, Quality control, Water Analysis, Chemicals treatment & Performance control, Safety. Environmental & Pollutions control for the following main facilities:
 350 m3/hr raw water treatment
 9000 m3/hr indirect cooling water,
 1600 m3/hr direct cooling water,
 120 m3/hr industrial waste water,
 120 m3/day sewage treatment,
 350 m3/hr fire water fighting
 20 m3/hr Potable water.
 Plan for all utilities (Water & Gases) for the production & supportive, reporting, operate and troubleshoot for waste water system, Industrial Water treatment and purification systems RO (Reverse Osmosis) , MBD (Mixed bed), MM (Multi media) Filters, UF( Ultra Filtration) , Decanters, Pumps, cooling towers, STP (Sewage Treatment plant) , emergency and firefighting systems.
 Modifications and Development of the plant performance and cost saving.
 Budget Preparation and Spare parts control as Long term, new procurement and Scheduled maintenance.

2. Gases :
 Compressed air & Instrument air network.
 Air distribution system with capacity equal to 20’000 Nm3/hr. through Centrifugal compressor
 Air dryer with capacity equal to 24’000 Nm3/hr
 Natural gas network.
Gas receiving and distribution system handling 16’000 Nm3/hr. process and fuel gas
