I am a Commercial Procurement professional with over 17 years’ experience, worked recently as Director Commercial/Procurement with Etisalat Group in UAE, after an earlier role with the company as Group Products & Services Director and several marketing roles with Orange Egypt.

My experience covers leadership in strategic sourcing, group cost-optimization programs, group contract management, procurement & supply chain management, managing international group-wide RFPs/Bids, conducting Group Framework Agreements (GFAs) with international global suppliers, conducting group ERAs (Electronic Reverse Auctions), managing group-wide spend, managing the creation/maintenance of group product catalogues and price books, procurement capability building, product development, implementation of large-scale projects, project management, solutions design, products & services, and marketing within the Telecoms sector in Egypt, KSA and the UAE as well as some markets in
Africa and Asia.

I have led departments, developed strategy, headed-up senior negotiations, built and developed teams, successfully introduced and launched numerous products/services, implemented global centralized procurement tools and processes and significantly reduced overall group spend with substantial savings.

I have a B.Sc. in Engineering, an MBA from Maastricht School of Management and an Executive Education certificate from HEC Paris in leadership and business strategy.
