Appointed Document Control Manager at Arab Contractor Co. (for the $1.081Bn Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Hospital Project in Kuwait), almost 18 years’ experience (including 17 years’ in Kuwait) in the same field, in Creation & Implementation of Documents/Records Management System related to construction projects. Assuring that Documents/Records Management is authenticate, validate, control and repository of all the documentation process within the organization and it is complies with:-

Leading Document Controllers Teams (16 Members) to ensure Project Documents be produced and processed in compliance with the DC related Project Procedures in order to maintain traceable, reliable and accessible of Project Information on the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Design and implemented auditing system to ensure project participants and Document Control Team comply with the project Document Control procedures and Work Instructions in order to maintain the reliability, traceability and accessibility of Project Information.
Responsible for System Administration and Customization of Project EDMS, inclusive of System Setup, Classification of Registered Documents, Document Numbering Convention, Workflow Design and Problem Diagnosis.
Facilitates in providing the best communication management system that includes studying the project requirements throughout the project lifecycle, selecting the optimum EDMS solutions, implementing all supporting software across programs and training the team members, development of document control system, policies and procedures, vendor document administration, end documentation and management of a team of document controllers.
Ensure Project Division’s full compliance with the established Corporate Management System
Evaluate effectiveness of the Corporate Management System across projects.
Ensure that Configuration Management audits, recording of complaints etc. take place and are closed off in a timely manner to prevent project delays
Supporting & consulting all Project’s Divisions to ensure the proper procedure in implement and perform the project activities.
Knowledge in using multi EDMS systems (PIMMS, SAP, Aconex…..etc.)
Create and maintain master documents and procedures for altering documents and their properties.
Manage day-to-day and strategic plan for document review, approval, archival, and quality control.
Own, document, and review the documentation process, including compliance and control.
Develop in person and written training materials and protocols for specific user types.
***As the Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008) required the Control of
Documents, which requires that a procedure to be established to define the controls, which is of necessity to follow and it is my field of specialisation:
a) Approve documents for adequacy prior to issue.
b) Review and update as necessary and re-approve documents.
c) Ensure that changes and the current revision status of documents are identified.
d) Ensure that relevant versions of applicable documents are available at points of use.
e) Ensure that documents remain legible and readily identifiable.
f) Ensure that documents of external origin determined by the organization to be necessary for planning and operation of the quality management system are identified and their distribution controlled.
g) Prevent the unintended use of obsolete documents, and to apply suitable identification to them if they are retained for any purpose.
