I have over 6 years of experience in the Oil Exploration and Production Industry mainly as an Inspection Engineer (Lifting/Static Equipments) and this experience is distributed over three different positions which are different in many aspects and have gained a lot from each of them.

Basically I am a Chemical Engineer who has specialized in Inspection Engineering. I am LEEA certified Lifting Inspector and experienced in multi discipline, having understanding of the Maintenance, Inspection and Technical Requirements of all sort of Lifting Equipments like EOT Cranes, Mobile Cranes, Monorails, Offshore Containers etc as per applicable codes (LEEA, BSEN, and ASME etc.). I am API certified Inspector as well having basic knowledge of Static Equipment's Inspection (with the assistance of senior Static Inspector) like Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Piping etc. as per applicable codes (API, ASME, DEP, etc.); from the technical viewpoint, I have provided support to different functional groups for ordering, Installation and Maintenance of Lifting Equipments.

I have worked with many Project Commissioning contractors to PDO Sites and provided witness Inspection services during SAT. I have been involved in many Repair/Refurbishment Projects for Lifting Equipments within PDO from Last two years. I have been involved in various PDO Lifting Procedures compliance Audits and carried out Audits of PDO and all PDO Contractors. I have carried out Lifting Procedures compliance audits of all PDO and Contractors owned Rigs and Well Pulling Hoists.

I have performed in multi-cultural environments and have worked at heights, in confined spaces and have full awareness of, and a firm believer in, the safety requirements for working in hazardous environments. I have taken part in HAZOP studies, JHA, JRA etc. and based on my technical knowledge have suggested many ideas on improving work practices.
