Profile
Abhirami Rao is a multi-talented all rounder who seeks to give her best at whatever she puts her mind to. A freelance journalist with The Hindu, she is an out-of-the-box thinker - patient, persistent, a keen observer and an easy-going conversationalist. Additionally, she is a compelling public speaker, an Indian classical dancer (with 13 years of experience) and a theatre artist.
As early as her primary school, she was awarded the Yuva SreeKala Bharathi for excellence in performing arts and studies. She went on to navigate the school-level cultural scene as the Cultural Secretary of Chinmaya Vidyalaya and also won the Best All-Rounder award in high school. An avid reader and singer, she spends each day awe-inspired at the simplistic grandeur of the world, while taking comfort in the fact that learning new things and binge-watching tv shows isn’t going out of style any time soon.
