A unique mix of my previous work experience of around 12+ years in software QA , systems testing & test automation with product based global corporations like Avaya , 3Com & DLink , expertise in customer requirements analysis & Quality Management , skills in building comprehensive test plans and delivering high quality products, strong expertise in Scrum & Agile development methods, hands-on knowledge of SDLC & STLC, experience with TDD/BDD, my MSc internship with Younicos AG (Berlin) and also my Masters in Global Production Engineering (RE-Electrical) from TU Berlin along with my earlier Bachelors in Electronics Engineering , make me a suitable candidate for this opportunity.

I am a “ISTQB-Belgium” certified Testing engineer and also a “Cisco certified networks engineer” and a “Six Sigma-green belt” certified quality engineer from Fraunhofer Institute (IPK), Germany . The software testing experience I have, spans diverse domains like enterprise Mobile Apps (Andriod & iOS), Energy (Management systems , Battery storage) , BFSI (Payment Gateway / Online Trading / Insurance Claims), Healthcare (Patient care products & solutions) , Hospitality and Telecom (Embedded systems /GSM Mobile Radio/ FXO/FXS/VoIP/DSL/VoD). Over the years I have worked on implementation and maintenance of GUI automation test harnesses using software’s like QTP , Abacus , Web services testing using JMeter and SOAPUI. My skills in working with test management software’s useful for Agile development like Rally and Scrum works along with Test management tools like Rational Clearquest , Quality center, Bugzilla, Rally and Jira combined with my exposure to performance and stress testing using Javascript & Python, understanding of key performance metrics, embedded systems development in continuous integration environment gained while at Avaya Inc. & DLink with my expertise in open source Embedded Systems OS development for mobile devices right from kernel to the application layer while at Azingo Inc. (Google company) also makes me a suitable candidate for this position.
I carry a very good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management, Operations Management, International Trade and Financial Management that I have picked up during my earlier studies at Business school ( EPGDBM , SIBM-India) which are very useful for me to evaluate, design & execute software test scenarios closely matching to the business and customer requirements using a methodical analytical approach. I have also gained hands-on expertise in working with and coaching , cross cultural test teams spread across multiple locations (like India, USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Budapest) which will be helpful for me to perform to the best of my potentials at this position.
I have excellent ability to create effective and streamlined test cases, executing test scenarios for functional, regression ,performance, exploratory, usability ,sanity & unit testing for web and embedded systems ensuring on-time and accurate test communication with development teams, leveraging available tools and frameworks to ensure effective test coverage, ensuring defects are reported and escalated as per planned processes, all while working in an Agile Development framework. I have a good expertise in performance & resource management, setting goals & KPIs, deliverables and policies settings. Have excellent exposure to Project Management (cost/budgeting/resourcing/estimation) and strong organizational skills to effectively follow discussions with different IT and business teams. I am also a skillful communicator & motivator with excellent verbal and written communication skills to build a strong team & relationships within all levels in an organization and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, internal technology groups , customers and employees.
