I was taking care of P&L management, retail management, strategy formulation, buying & merchandising / analysis / operation/ budget ($15 Million) / reporting of "GEOX - Respira" for the entire GCC region. I am a seasoned professional with an international experience of 10.5+ Years in the field of P&L management, Strategy formulation and implementation (Business, Operation, Marketing, Buying), Business / Sales /Buying & Merchandise analysis, Supply Chain and Project Management, Process Improvement & optimization, Brand Portfolio Assessment, Pricing structure & revenue maximization & cost reduction/control.
After completing my Global MBA programme (SPJCM - Singapore/Dubai), I moved to UAE in March 2011 and joined the “Chalhoub Group” which is the leader in retail & distribution of Luxury Fashion, beauty and Gifts in the GCC region. I joined (CoE - Center of Excellence) BEST (Business Excellence in Structure & technology) department of the group as “Management Consultant - Business Analyst” and worked on various strategic projects such as Re-structuring of the organization, Process Improvement, Performance Enhancement and Brand Portfolio Assessment of the regional distribution companies in 14 countries. Established a clear picture on profitability per brand via ROCE and BCG matrix

In a very short span of time I was promoted as “Sr Management Consultant – Sr Business Analyst” and moved to Group Logistics (CoE - Center of Excellence) and worked on various strategic projects related to supply chain planning, process re-engineering, financials spread over 14 countries. Assignments included process mapping & re-engineering, Pricing Mechanism of the Logistics services which is one of its kind and much appreciated by the industry leaders. Defined the Business Planning Process and Implemented the “TDB, OVR, Financial KPI and Productivity (task & time consumption)” for Logistics (Warehousing, Transportation, Export/Import) across GCC countries and also took care of the Cost control and Budgeting ($40M) for the entire operation center and converted them into “Profit Center”.

Prior to my post-graduation I was working with an international consultancy firm called “WAPCOS Ltd” as a Project Manager and have completed my bachelor’s degree from NIT Trichy. During my tenure of 5+ years, I had established new offices in Bihar as well as in Jharkhand in relation to the business development / project management and managed a team of 20 members comprising of Engineers, Consultants, Draughtsman and others. I was also based in Afghanistan in relation to Salma Dam Project (Chist-e-Sharif) and was involved in Resource Allocation, Preparation of Financial and Technical Proposals, Preparation of Detailed Project Report, Post Strategy / Roadmap formulation, Vendor and Bid Process Management.

Achievements:
1) Turnaround the GEOX brand in GCC from 6.5% loss to 5.4% profit
2) Converted logistics operation from cost center to profit center
3) Youngest to be promoted as Project Manager due to project and people management skills, high selling & analytical skills and was entrusted with the financial responsibility as well
4) Received appreciation for on time delivery of DPR and approval from Govt. of India under JnNURM from the Clients and the CMD of WAPCOS

I have also managed a team to help increase revenue while satisfying customers, and worked with teams from various others departments to help achieve the goals and targets of the organization. I am a full-fledged professional and know how to move ahead, take the strategic decisions, be ahead of the competitor & be equipped with the contingency plan.
