• Accountable for material usage, reduction of wastage and quality issues
• Submit daily production reports
• Handling manpower and allocating work to them
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control technique
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective
• Ensuring the health and safety guidelines are followed
• Working with managers to implement to production policies
• Identify any defects in machines and initiate repair
• Coordinate with planning manager for man/machine balance chart preparation
