Job Title / Designation: UX Designer

Job Description:

Desired Skills & Experience:

·         A strong eye for visual design including branding logo and graphic design, typography, layout and composition, colour harmony, web components, web forms, data visualization and emerging technology.

·         An outstanding body of work (portfolio, dribble account) that shows your ability to design compelling, simple, beautiful, and responsive web interfaces

·         Demonstrated mastery of design tools (i.e. Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator etc.)

·         Well-versed in visual, interactive, and user-centred design principles especially for e-commerce websites and apps

·         Comfortable sketching and articulating a design concept, and rigorously refining it to pixel-perfect detail

·         Extensive experience working hand-in-hand with front-end web developers to translate and develop designs into working interfaces

·         Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and user-centred web design trends

·         Ability to prioritize work and use critical thinking skills to come up with creative solutions

·         Design Degree (Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related) or work experience

·         Minimum 1 year of experience in E-commerce UX Design

·         Passion for working in a start-up venture.

·         Good communication skills

·         Good knowledge in e-commerce domain

Key Responsibilities:

·         User Centred Analysis, Information Architecture and then Interaction Design

·         Creates visually appealing and beautiful design solutions for e-commerce websites and apps

·         Rapidly design pixel perfect webpages and mobile apps for all platforms

·         Understand the nuances of RWD and Adaptive design as well as the steps to create standalone designs right from concept

·         Works on multiple projects and ensure online delivery

·         Interactively improve designs and quickly implement feedbacks from stakeholders

·         Create reusable design elements
