GENERAL :
*To provide basic & related information to visitors & patient.
*Greet the patient/relatives/guest in polite manner.
*To coordinate with all the departments. You will be trained for multi skills as per the requirement of organization.
*This Job description can be altered/modified based on organization's need.
*To follow the Registration and Admission policies as per NABH standards.
*To ensure the work area and department is clean.
*To look after VIP lounge and its maintenance.
*To coordinate for Admission and Billing.
*To solve the problems or grievances informed by patients/relatives.
*To report to duty on time and should be flexible to adjust duties with others.
*To participate different projects and show enthusiasm.
*To book a cab or hotel for patients or consultants as and when require.
*To participate in various calling activities.
*To train a junior staff about departmental activities.
*Customer care executives/Sr. executives can be transferred internally (Front office, OPD, etc.) anywhere as and when required by the organization.
REGISTRATION
*To see if the patient is a new patient or an old patient (Already registered).
*To get the information about the nature of illness and guide them to the concerned department.
*To give the registration forms and help them to fill and guide them to the concerned doctor.
*To collect the reference letters if any.
*To check whether the patient has filled all relevant data in the registration form.
*To handover the OPD file.
*To make an entry of the referred doctor's name and address in the computer.
*To guide the visitors to the concerned room/departments.
*To provide information regarding various preventive medical health checkups.
ADMISSION
*To receive patient's admission slip given by the doctors.
*To allot rooms as per patient's choice and availability.
*To explain the patients' rights and responsibilities, general guidelines etc to the patient.
*To answer queries and to provide information directly to the person or over telephone. For e.g. availability of doctors, fixing up an appointment, handling inquiries etc.
*To book appointments for patients in HIMS.
*Deposit slip is raised by the Admission counter and to give instructions regarding payment.
*To confirm with the house keeping and wards regarding the readiness of the room before sending the patient.
*Explain hospital regulations to patients, concerning visitors and visiting hours, ICU shifting policies, room upgradations, downgradations, room availability etc.
*To receive the VIP patient, accompany them to their room.
*To finish the pending files and discharge summaries and submit it to Credit cell and MRD.
*To arrange for escorting patient to room.
OPD
*To generate the OPD billing for investigations and consultations.
*To ensure correct and accurate billing.
*To guide the patients to labs and radiology.
*To ensure minimum cancellations and refund of billings.
*To inform front desk staff when doctors order investigation and admission from OPD.
*To look after OPD areas and cleanliness of the same.
*To coordinate efficiently in OPD.
*To prepare the daily OPD register and maintain the data for OPD.
*To maintain the admission data for and inform concern department about next day admissions.
