Roles and Responsibilities:
. Proficient on all SQl server concepts including SSAS,SSRS and SSIS and integration, sharepoint etc .
. Should have ETL development skills
. Should have very good data analysis skills.
. Suggest design alternatives. Architect proficency: Can work with different modules and make tactical decisions.
Lead team to create prototypes to validate design decisions. Design and Code Review. Establish build and unit
testing processes. Mentor the team on the technology and design front.
. Knowledge in Design, Capacity Planning and Architecting ETL solutions Soundknowledge in Performance Tuning
Packages Implementing Transactions based packages.
. Sound knowledge in Best Practices of developing SSIS Project UsingSSIS beyond ETL (DB Maintanance)
. SQL Constructs Ablility to understand and implement Data Types, Basic SQLSELECT Statements, Restricting and
Sorting Data, System Functions, Joins, Sub-Queries, Creating & Managing DB Objects, Manipulating Data (DML),
Constraints,Views
. SQL Query Tuning Basics: Understanding of concepts like TuningMethodology, SQL Statement Processing,
SHOWPLAN, Introduction to the Optimizer,Indexes and Basic Access Methods, Gathering Statistics, Optimizer
Hints,Monitoring queries, Optimizing queries.
. Adv SQL: COMPUTE Clause, AdvancedINSERT, Transact-SQL conditions and expressions, Dealing with
collation sequences, Using scalar and aggregate functions, Multiple Table Queries Tools
. Adv SQL & SQL Tuning Techniques: Able to implement Executingfull-text searches, Managing Data and
