Specialist Job Description

Position:
Sr. Web Analytics Specialist

Project Description:


Collaborate with internal Digital Analyst and external partners such as
agencies to:


1. Proficient in the Web Analytics tools such as Google Analytics / Omniture &
Tag Manager

2. Assist with data capturing and
reporting

3. Conduct testing of developed website,
tagging, mobile applications and mobile sites during the development phase.

4. Conduct Quality Assurance testing
before implementation (for the above development types)

5. Provide consultative direction, and
enforce best practices and standards.
Responsibilities:

The
candidate will be responsible for the following:

Web Analytics:

·
Manage multiple
Web analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented
environment.

·
Google Analytics
certification is preferred


  • Generate tracking code
    (standard/custom) and troubleshoot existing implementation

  • Oversee the Tag Manager
    Implementation and integration with analytics, as needed

  • Conduct audits of websites
    to ensure tracking tags are functioning and feeding respective reports

  • Train internal team on use
    of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and any new features of both

  • Quickly identify causes
    and solutions to issues or unexpected results as identified in reporting

  • Regularly audit tracking
    tags and parameter implementations for data capture accuracy

  • Work closely with the stakeholders
    and Development teams to set agenda and priority for Web Analytics
    initiatives

  • Design and automate
    business reports on traffic, conversion and other online customer behaviour
    metrics and provide in-depth insights to drive action

  • Must have excellent
    analytical skills and ability to autonomously and efficiently read, sanity
    check and analyze data and deliver actionable recommendations

  • Strong written and verbal
    communication skills to articulate and present findings to others and
    translate analytical findings into easily understandable, actionable
    insights
