Transforming verbal descriptions of Diseases, injuries, conditions, medical, surgical, and diagnostic procedures, in to numerical designations (coding).
Reviewing the production work.
Maintaining the status log for the accounts & allotment of work.
Coding appropriate CPT & ICDs for the patient records based on the insurance according to client instructions provided & keeping compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)
Desired Skills:
knowledge of medical terminology & coding
Experience in emergency coding
Expert in CPT and ICD coding.
