Responsibilites for DBA

• Good Communication skill.
  
• Good theoretical understanding of RDBMS Concept with
  experience on MySQL, postgresql.
  
• Experience of working on Linux/Unix Environment.
  
• Experience with database query tuning.
  
• Thorough knowledge of sql syntax as per SQL-92
  standards.
  
• Understand complex query joins and execution plans .
  
• Knowledge of any scripting language like shell, PHP,
  Python, etc.
  
• Thinks and solves problem effectively.
  
• Should have thorough knowledge of shell scripting and
  automating.
  
• Familiar with Data modelling tools.
  
• Should have 12+ months working experience in any
  Database technology MySQL/postgresql.

• Ready to work out-of-hours maintenance and on call
  support.
  
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (RDS).

Communication Skills: Need good communication skills. Candidate
required who can explain the things efficiently both technical and
non-technical aspects.
