Technology Stack -
• Extensive understanding & experience on Java, Hibernate & Spring, JAXB, Jersey, REST
• Extensive experience working with RDBMS databases – Oracle, MySQL
• Solid experience with application servers like Apache & Tomcat
• Hands on experience with unix operating systems and tools
• Experience with Cassandra, Lucene Solr & Hadoop
• Experience with automated deployment tools like puppet
• Code repositories – Git/Bitbucket
• Continuous integration & Build tools – Bamboo, Jenkins, maven
• Agile development process experience
Roles & Responsibilities -
• System Integration design & development responsibilities for platform deployment into various international customers.
• Able and ready to travel
• Requires interaction with the customer from a technical standpoint
• This role requires an end to end understanding of the MobiTV backend platform – training will be provided
• Ramping up rest of the team including Dev & QA
o Train the team members on the mobitv backend platform
o Provide inputs in selecting the team members
• Interacting with the core platform team in Emeryville
• Leading individual deployment teams
• Ensuring overall quality of deliverables – code reviews, design reviews, test case reviews, extensive documentation with java docs, design docs and deployment docs.
