Side loader / forklift operator

Job Specifications:

Qualification:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:Minimum 2-5 Years Relevant experience.

English speaking and writing is a must.

Job Description:

Unload inbound shipments safely and move materials to storage locations.

Efficiently stack and store the materials in the appropriate areas Arrange / assists in loading from material.

Make use of overhead crane (2T, 10T and 20T), wall mounted and gantry cranes

Keep the storage area neat / clean and orderly.

Just-in-time facilitating of the four bending production lines in close co-operation with workshop supervisor and production manager.

Prepare, check,accept shipping documents for incoming/ outgoing materials.

Responsible for loading of pick-ups and trucks in a proper and save manner with correct items and quantities.

Marking and recording of raw materials.

Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift/ side loader to move, locate, relocate, stack, count and record incoming and outgoing material. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform other duties.
