Shop Floor Supervisor

Key Responsibilities :

Fabrication of Heavy Structural Columns and Girders (30 to 100 Tons per unit) for Power Plant projects within contractual delivery period of desired quality level and within given Budget under safe working condition in our factory near Pune, Maharashtra.

Complete knowledge of inspection, Welding Procedures, Pre welding Heating and Post weld Stress relieving arrangements, material handling lifting / turning etc.

Safe Material Handling (lifting / shifting / turning) of the Heavy structural Steel like Thick Plates, Columns / Beams, Girders using suitable material handling system during Fabrication at our works.

Optimal utilization of resources (Consumables, Manpower, Material etc.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• Well versed with the AWS & ASME welding codes, specifications and procedures and Welder qualification process.

• Hands on experience of Fabrication, Welding and Gas Cutting of thick plates ( 25 to 160 mm ) , Heat distortion correction is desirable.

• Should have strong Job execution capabilities through contractors and have proven track record of executing projects within time frame.

• Should be able to handle Third party inspection at Works.
