Senior software (WiFi) QA engineer

Candidate will have strong background and experience in 802.11, RF, L2, L3, L4-L7, routing and tunneling.

Building wireless and wired network lab setups and test Wi-Fi Access Point/controller.

Create test plans, test cases, execute them and log defects.

Work with the local engineering team and international teams to bring our product to real life deployment.

Minimum 4-5 years of QA experience in testing WiFi Access Point, controller and Wireless Gateway products.

In-depth experience with IEEE 802.11 protocols, WiFi Alliance certifications, Enterprise/Service Provider Access Point Features

Experience with Wireless/Network Security, Routing, Tunneling, VLAN technologies

Experience with Radius, TACACS/Diameter, 802.1x, Hotspot 2.0, Captive Portal/Hotspot/BYOD.

Experience with wireless/wired
traffic generator and simulation tools such as Veri Wave, Chariot,
Spirent, Ixia, controller/AP simulator.

Experience with wireless/wired analysis and troubleshooting tools such as Wire Shark, Omni Peek, Wi-spy, Aircap.

Experience with Python, embedded Linux scripting is a plus
Be able to communicate, verbally and in written form, with team members and co-workers.

Be able to write clear procedures, bug descriptions and test reports.

BS or MS in CS, EE, IS, Math or equivalent, Any other network certification is a plus.
