- Check process parameters and report the same (including deviation) to S/I
- Coordinate with maintenance to reduce the break down time
- Assist shift in charge in house keeping activities as per EHS norms and maintaining safety appliances
- Generate plant performance reports
- Handle emergencies, communicate superiors about the same (consult S/I)
- Take required measures to ensure equipment health and avoid down time
- Report to Shift In charge about field maintenance activities and also taking charge of shift in the absence of Shift In charge
- Generate W/O, Permits for the maintenance of the equipment/valves/line and miscellaneous and co-ordinate with maintenance to facilitate speedy recovery from break down
- Start up and shut down activities in field in compliance with HSE policy
- Ensure house keeping as per BSC recommendation
- Providing necessary information to DSM (trend Evaluation; information from other department.) for smooth and efficient shift operations
- Refresher training, courses and technical input to subordinates.
- Check process parameters and report the same (including deviation) to S/I
