Senior Merchandiser Technical Product Design & Development- Hard Goods

Job role:
Give input to the development projects from a technical perspective in bringing know how regarding construction, material, production, quality and customer.
Responsible of the documentation and the drawings.
Secure they are updated and at correct quality level according to Organization Documentation Guideline and standards.
Responsible for choosing test methods and assist in developing test methods in Co-operation with Test Lab and PR&C.
Responsible for planning and executing quality checks.
Responsible for communication and collaboration regarding the requirements with
external parties such as Customer, purchasing, Suppliers, Test lab, Packaging, etc
Support production implementation in cooperation with Purchasing.
Contribute to product assessments and analyze production risk assessments.
Take initiatives to product and supplier improvements together with Product developers and product engineers and Purchasing Technicians.
Be updated within applicable Organization Standards, specifications, working methods and IT tools.
Establish and maintain networks
Keep an up-dated picture of customers needs and demands around the Globe.
Supporting external users in handling PLUS.
Take part in developing the business and action plan
Mandatory Requirement:
Experience in Product documentation work
Technical drawings (CAD, measured images, 3D software)
Product compliance including testing and quality deviation management
Experience in product development and implementation of product specifications in production environment.
Experience of relevant production technologies and materials and working with Production & Product Risk Assessment
Understanding of customers needs and expectations towards the key and secondary functions of different products (e.g. safety, durability, ergonomics etc.).
