Senior Information Technology Manager
Job Purpose: to ensure Factory IT systems, infrastructure and office systems work effectively in support of the Factory’s KPIs through the managerial leadership of the IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Understand and follow Company-wide IT policies
· Develop/Manage annual IT budget and project plans
· Work as a trusted partner with different business units to communicate and deliver the value of IT
· Work remotely with the IT teams at the Group and other countries
· Oversee Factory IT operations, including but not limited to network and infrastructure maintenance, server and system administration, systems implementation and upgrade, etc.
· Manage IT vendors to ensure timely, quality and cost effective IT product and service delivery
· Manage IT hardware and software inventories
· Provide end-user computing training and support
· Provide managerial leadership to the IT team
· Understand and live by the Company’s core values to create a quality culture
· Take accountability for growing and continuously improving oneself
· Always working at highest level of Integrity
· Station at Ethiopia for 2-3 years and develop the local talent
· Provide non-office hours support for critical issues or changes when needed
Job Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree
· Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, of which at least 4 years in supervisory and managerial positions, in a labour intensive manufacturing environment (preferred)
· Language skills: Written and spoken English a must
· Functional Requirements:
· IT planning concepts and tools
· Project management tools
· IT systems administration
· IT networking and infrastructure knowledge
· Knowledge in ERP, Cloud Services and other common applications
· Has the drive to lead, engage and enable teams and coach individual team members
· Has the drive to meet or exceed a standard of excellence on an ongoing basis
· Has the drive to systematically seek out information about things and issues to resolve problems
· Is excited by convincing and persuading others to do what is needed
Other Relevant Information:
Must be willing to travel to Asia to be trained for up to 3 - 6 months in the Company’s existing Factories
