Treselle Systems is an exciting, high-growth technology software consulting company focused in the rapidly evolving Big Data and Cloud computing space. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be a vital part of Treselle’s sales organization, playing a critical role in expanding Treselle’s revenue growth in the start-up, mid-market and enterprise segments.

We believe in promoting from within and with our current growth plans and the acceleration we’re seeing in our business, strong performance in this role can lead to upward mobility within the Sales organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • SDRs will source prospective clients using phone, email, and social networking, create awareness and evangelize Treselle’s service offerings, qualify, and transition potential leads to designated sales executive who will then convert these leads into sales opportunities.
  • Develop targeted call lists
  • Understand Treselle Systems’ services portfolio, competencies and market space clearly.
  • Keep up-to-date on industry trends and the competition’s positioning within the marketplace.
  • Analyze current disposition of lead and determine next appropriate step in the discovery/qualification process.
  • Set up meetings for sales team with all qualified leads.
  • Utilize a broad range of communication mediums to seek out and engage target leads including Social, LinkedIn, E-mail, phone and in-person meetings.
  • Efficiently respond and qualify all inbound marketing leads.
  • Track all lead activity, monitor leads/opportunities, and manage reports using Salesforce.com and other tools.
  • Develop relationships to identify sales opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed phone and email campaign goals as well as opportunity quotas.
  • Work with team members across different time zones.

Need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Outstanding verbal communication, listening, and writing skills.
  • A history of extracurricular activities such as sports, student government or part-time jobs that are customer facing (phone or in-person).
  • Persistence – doesn’t hesitate calling someone 15 times before they answer the phone or respond to our campaigns.
  • Positive attitude and high energy.
  • Highly motivated, fearless, competitive, and self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

Nice to have:

  • Previous phone based sales experience in any field.
  • The ability to influence others and build rapport quickly, especially over the phone.
  • Technology background is a plus.
