Prepare a new or updated Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans.
Conducts safety inspections and audits to assess employee/employer compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of safety.
Develops and implements a system to report, monitor, and correct safety problems.
Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, compliance, and business efficiency.
Investigate incidents to discover root cause and work with each department lead when necessary.
Collaborates with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) representatives and internal safety staff during formal plant audits and inspections; documents corrective actions taken.
