Job Description
Responsible for overall material procurement for all Transformer / Switchgears manufacturing units.
2. Strategic sourcing for Raw Material, Process Consumables for plants
3. To ensure the manufacturing line does not stop due to non-availability of material and monitoring Material down Time.
4. Preparing Comparison statements, Purchase and issue order in accordance to specification.
5. Vendor Evaluation for Power Transformers.
6. Reduce cost without compromise with quality and company policies, planning and monitoring of procurement, commercial negotiation etc.
7. Alternate Sourcing of Critical items required for plant.
8. Follow up with supplier/ Contractors to ensure for timely delivery of the material/Services.
9. Techno-commercial Negotiation with the suppliers/Contractors.
10. Capability of working in SAP system/Software related to departmental activities.
11. Analyzing the Performance ratings of suppliers/Contractors.
12. Making Payment plans for vendors.
13. All documentation formalities in purchase department
14. Handling the procurement Team.
15. Preparation of month wise Plans.
Desired Candidate Profile
1) Candidate must be ready to relocate
2) Candidate must have experience of working on SAP – MM Module
3) Must have good communication and negotiation skills.
