Procurement Engineer

Conducts procurement operations within the proper procurement procedures and guildelines
• To review / assess Machanical, Electrical and HVAC technical specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and drawings to determine suitable vendors
• Analyze and evaluate all purchase requisition to ensure clarify and completeness in description of materials and equipment
• Prepare and issue requestes for quotations to qualifies vendors
• Responsible in evaluating suppliers' bids on requisitioned items as well as in the technical specifications and delivery requirements of these items
• Prepare written technical reports and recommendations in English
• Prepare and issue purchase orders or work orders in accordance with selected vendors, price and technical specifications
• Regularly coordinate with suppliers on timely delivery of procured materials and services as well as on other matters related to procurement operations
• Assist to prepare Tender Documents
• Assist the Contracts Manager in tender evaluation
• All other requirement as may be required from time to time
