Post For Manager – Finance and Accounts

Reporting to: Senior Manager Finance and Accounts/Business Head

Main Purpose

Senior Manager – Finance and Accounts shall take control of the Finance and Accounts activities for the total group for all the locations.

Operational Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Budget Monitoring

· Preparation of annual budgets and exercising budgetary control

· Funds Planning

· Cost control

· Collections monitoring

Book Keeping & Closures

· Timely and accurate accounting

· Payable and Receivables processing

· Maintenance of financial books and records

Monthly Accounting Closures

· Reconciliations (bank, statutory, taxation)

· Trail balance scrutiny

· Balance confirmations (customers, vendors)

· Provisional entries

· Stock valuation

· Debit and credit notes reconciliations

Statutory Compliance

· Income tax returns filing

· Professional tax, Service Tax, VAT, TDS, TCS compliance

· Following up for refunds

· ROC compliance

Banking related compliance

· Bank reports

· CMA data submission

· Renewals and enhancements

Reporting

· Preparation of Financials

· Funds Flow statement

· Market Spends Vs Provisions

Others

· Fixed asset register maintenance

· Audit queries handling - internal and statutory

· Surprise stock verification

· Quarterly Stock Audits

· Managing the team and ensuring work gets done on time

· System implementation support (Tally, any other ERP etc)

Team related Responsibilities

· Team management and second line creation across the structure below

· Ensure the team is motivated and contribute to their maximum

· Conduct appraisals of the team directly reporting

· Monitor assessment scores and suggest areas for improvement

· Provide feedback for training and development for the team

· Ensure adherence to the HR policies of the company

· Ensure attrition is kept minimum and suggest ways for staff retention

Any other task as may be delegated by the reporting Manager or Senior Management
