Officer - Procurement

Responsible for entire Mining procurement of Operation & Maintenance Spares, Capex/Project Equipment Procurement under Mines, including cost, quality, availability and vendor management activities.
Develop Procurement strategy for Explosives, Mobile & Mining Machinery spares/equipment with quality and delivery. 
Responsible for all aspects of order placement for all items & engineering services related to Mining/Machinery Management other than centrally ordered items, including identify and develop new/alternative sources of supply prepare Rate contracts and develop negotiation strategy and leading negotiation. Updating with changes in technology and Vendor Base.
Vendor identification, development of new vendors and final selection for contracting, contract aligned to plant priorities.
Execution of procurement activities for plant
Strategic planning for the complete Ming procurement as per timelines, de bottlenecking at various stages.
Decision making on equipment/spares on regular basis Coordination with Head procurement
Explore benefit potentials, for identified plants and equipments. 
Develop strategy for vendor rationalization, for plant and equipments and managing vendor relation.
Implementation procedures for procurement operations, and implementation of procurement strategy
