I. Job Summary

An experienced, focused and motivated tech professional to prepare the existing NetSuite platform for scale and business growth.
You will own all aspects of NetSuite and support various departments including Business Development, Customer Care, Logistics, Management etc. with their day to day NetSuite requirements including reporting, process development and improvement and general systems training.

You will be primarily responsible for leading system administration and technical configuration of the NetSuite application. The role divides the key responsibilities into two sections:
1) Key implementation responsibilities, and
2) Key administration responsibilities

Thus an understanding of startup environments, agile development, and how to balance the need to keep operations running versus the need to build things the right way is an absolute must.

II. The Role

Reporting Matrix: Reporting to and working closely with the Technical Lead and Director of Operations; dotted Line: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Key implementation responsibilities:
• Application customization including Forms, Fields, Online forms, Custom Records, Reports and Dashboards using standard NetSuite customization modules.
• Working with other technology teams and other 3rd party tools to develop API’s to integrate with other applications
• Under the direction of business functional owners establish application roles and user assignments.

Key administration responsibilities:
• Daily management and maintenance of the NetSuite application
• Primary point of contact to NetSuite Support, providing support with regards to all aspects of NetSuite and data maintenance and liaise with vendor to track requested enhancements and support
• Monitoring end-user usage of systems, tracking performance, performing daily administrative support tasks and maintaining and dating system documentation
• Technical administration, including data integration with multiple business functions: HR, Sales, Expenses, reporting, customer billing, client payments etc.
• Based on user/business needs actively lead and deliver customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases and system integration
• Developing, documenting and following formal policies, procedures and protocols for changes, customization, standards, usage, etc.
• Training users on the NetSuite application, providing support to users, maintaining proper system access, and support end-user technical requests
• Development and maintenance of custom application extensions using system API and third party tools
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company programs, activities, records and customer lists.

III. Candidate Profile

Qualifications, experience and essential attributes:

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering background
• NetSuite certification and / or experience with multiple NetSuite offerings preferred
• Hands on NetSuite implementation, integration, customization and support experience is must
• Proficient in database management with basic understanding of accounting practices
• Should understand Cloud / ERP applications and technology
• Know-how on how to setup email servers to integrate with NetSuite
• Understanding of the overall business and corporate goals of the implementation.
• Ability to create NetSuite dashboards for management reporting
• Experience with creation of searches and reports to conduct maintenance checks on the database and SKU catalogue
• Experience with creation of roles and permission levels and to be able to set user access levels, passwords
• Experience with NetSuite web services and integration techniques including connectors to Magento and other platforms
• Understanding of CSV imports to create necessary transaction and item additions and updates including journal entries, bills
• Experienced with freemarker to edit and create printable transaction form PDFs.

• Open to work in Startup environment
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks alongside work under pressure & meet the deadlines
• Team-oriented but able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Effectively interact with management through creation of dashboards and with all levels within the organization
• Manage and roll-out key initiatives to improve overall business process flows
• Get into the necessary technical details through SuiteScripting and SuitFlow.
• Good understanding of order to cash and procure to pay processes; inventory management and order management.
