MYP Design and Visual Art Teacher ( South Korea )

Position Summary: A MYP Design and Visual Art teaching position in the Middle School for the 2023-24 school year. With strong communication and collaboration skills as well as a proven ability to build a caring rapport with students, the successful candidate will collaborate with a passionate and committed team, working closely with the Head of the Middle School, Deputy Heads of the Middle School, MYP Coordinator, Instructional Leaders, and Interns. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 ● Create a class environment that inspires and supports learning and personal growth 

● Establish effective rapport with students, based on mutual respect and positive interactions 

● Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for further education in accordance with each students ability 

● Establish good relationships with culturally diverse parents, faculty and other staff members, demonstrating respect for and willingness to learn about our host country and its inhabitants

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree 

● Current, relevant teaching certification/licensure 

● Minimum three years’ relevant teaching experience
