Job Profiles :- 

1.  Principal :-  (  Positions 5 ) 

 Principal will be responsible for the following areas -

1. Students:

● Facilitates a safe and positive environment for optimal student growth and learning.

● Ensures learning is individualized and the programs offered meet student needs.

● Oversees the co-curricular and other non-instructional activities offered by the high school.

● Leads the transition program for new and leaving students.

● Oversees the counselling and college placement offices.

Teaching and Learning:

● Leads teaching and learning in the high school within the school’s curriculum framework.

● Develops, reviews, and evaluates high school programs in collaboration with the high school

and Teaching and Learning Coordinator.

● Responsible for the improvement of instruction and seeks to develop new and better

instructional programs.

● Collaborates with the Teaching and Learning and Educational Technology Coordinators to

develop and implement initiatives for individualizing student learning in the high school.

Faculty and Staff:

The High School Principal is the supervisor for all high school instructional and non-instructional

staff.

● Recruits, develops, and retains high caliber faculty and staff.

● Implements ASB’s professional growth framework and oversees professional growth for high

school faculty and staff.

● Provides timely and appropriate formal and informal feedback to high school faculty and

staff.

● Ensures all high school faculty and staff are informed of their responsibilities.

● Assigns personnel as necessary to meet, student, programmatic and operations needs of the

high school. Etc.
