Mobile Development Specialist

Software Engineer – Mobile Development Specialist (Jr/Sr) (No of openings – 2 Jr, 2 Sr.)
Responsibilities:
Design, Develop & Prototype iOS and/or Android native customer applications for phones and tablets for internal and external use.
Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release to app store.
Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.
Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms
Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
Write and maintain documentation for all features in development
Requirements:
· Overall experience 5+ years for Senior SE and 3+ years for SE
Experience working with Google or Apple Mobile Application technologies
Demonstrated interest in technology, technology-related issues and analytical analysis
High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience
Effective collaborator with both non-technical and technical team members
Motivated self-starter with a high attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Proficient in basic SQL operations such as joins and views.
Experience with SOAP, REST, RPC or other client-server API testing.
Experience in Stash, JIRA, and Confluence a plus.
Experience in Git or other source code management systems.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Android:
· Excellent knowledge in core Java
· Hands on experience in the full life cycle of Android application development
· Strong knowledge in RESTful web services
· Good Knowledge of Android SDK's
· Push Notifications & Toast
· Eclipse & ANT based build system
· Android Studio
iOS:
· Very good experience with Objective-C and iOS SDK
· Good working knowledge in Cocoa Touch
· Experience with memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
Good To Have:
· Experience in Payment gateway integration in mobile apps is a big plus
· A portfolio of iOS/Android apps in the Play Store/app store is a plus
· Hands on experience with Android studio &gradle build system
· Git &Gerrit, Saltstack, Jenkins
· UI & UX experience
· Locations and Map API's
