Melt Shop Manager/ Furnace

Job Specifications:

Need to have minimum 10 -15 years’ experience in steel industry, well conversant with IMF/LF/ OBS operations. Must be Diploma/B.E. (Metallurgy/Chemical)

Should have good communication skills.

Job Description:

Responsible for technical support, smooth running of plant and safe working practice

Ensuring the quality and maximize production

Manage the availability of Manpower on IMF,LRF,IF,CRANES,SLAG HANDLING

Supervising and keeping records of all work done in terms of modifications/changes from day to day in all production related activities

Ensuring good housekeeping of all areas & plant roads,furnaces maintenance, housekeeping, arranging emergency spares for furnaces,maintenance of control rooms, plant building etc.

Responsible PPE implementation & issuance and Shut down planning & execution
