Manager / Sr. Manager - Investment Banking

Purpose of the role
Independently involved in execution of M&A and Private Equity mandates s and support senior bankers in marketing collaterals for origination
Key Responsibilities
Execution

• Prepare business plan and complete financial model based on client and market data including deal structuring and valuation scenarios
• Putting together deal collaterals like information memorandum, investor flyer, teaser etc
• Create a buyer/ target/ investor universe - selective identification of deal prospects and profiling; make first level contacts
• Supporting in Due Diligence process and closure documentation like Share purchase agreement, shareholder agreement etc.
• Complete client management and maintain deal timelines

Origination

• Research sector research, identification of companies in that space, profiling companies in detail and comparables in India and abroad
• Deal / Transaction Research: keep track of transaction in various sectors and transaction parameters in both unlisted and listed space
• Preparation of pitch books including comparable company analysis and precedent transaction analysis
• Manage assignments such as Valuation, Fairness opinions, transaction advisory etc.
• Efficiently use various data libraries
• Provide need based assistance to senior bankers

• Reasonably good technical ability and logical reasoning
• Strong knowledge of financial and valuation concepts
• Ability to work under pressure
• Should have clear thought process
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Should be a self starter and Methodical
• Should have strong MS Excel and PPT Skills
