Skills

University
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

·       
Conversant
with structural calculations for steel and concrete structures.

·       
Well
versed with site QA procedures.

·       
Well
versed with site HSE requirements.

·       
Well
versed with construction method statements.

·       
Conversant
with international & Middle East building codes and standards.

·       
Knowledge
and experience of working with:

·       
STAAD
and/or similar software packages

·       
Good
command of Microsoft Office Suite

·       
SmartPlant
3D knowledge would be a plus

·       
AutoCAD
knowledge would be a plus

·       
Construction
methods and pre-requisites (scaffolding, lifting plans, PTW, risk assessments,
material handling etc)

·       
Supervisory
skills, motivate and support

·       
Good
command of written and spoken English.

 Experience:

Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience with

1.       >5
years in a project related position.

2.       >3
years as a team lead in civil and structural detailed design/engineering.

3.       >5
years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry, offshore experience is a distinct
advantage.

4.       >3 +
years site work experience in a supervisory or senior position, including
construction and handover.

of being the focal point of direct client contact and other stakeholder
interfaces
