Senior Equity Research Analyst

Candidate needs to:
The role requires you to manage a team of equity analysts and conduct in depth research and analysis into the Indian equity markets.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in equity research with strong corporate contacts and relationship with industry and fund managers.
Provide fundamental research on industry and individual company and help generate timely and accurate investment recommendations. Is expected to work and analyze the equity market round the clock.
Write research articles and contribute to the periodical publication activities.
Analyze trading of particular companies on stock exchanges and write frequently on findings of the same.
Review and interpret cash flow statements, income statements and balance sheets on publicly traded companies.
Calculate financial ratios and perform exchange rate calculations.
Develop key industry themes and do company due diligence.
Develop, maintain and manage business contacts with management level, sell-side analysts and investment community peers.
Participate in industry conferences, both as a participant and Speaker.
Do on-site visit, gather first-hand information and help enhance investment process.
Develop financial models to accurately reflect companies' overall performance and valuation to help make sensible investment decisions.
Supervise performance of respective company’s part of portfolio and provide timely updates on individual companies.
Develop, maintain and analyze generic and specific company, industry and market overviews.
Research and analyze specific company financial information and fundamentals.
Desired Skills and Experience
The suitable candidate needs to have minimum 5 years of equity research experience.
Strong analytic skills, excellent writing and presentation skills as well as managerial track record.
Should be smart, highly energetic and hard working with strong analytical skills.
MBA's, CA's and engineers with CFA or other certifications will get a preference.
Candidates from Pune will be preferred.
